Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dr. Teara Wuollet has traveled and lived on every coast, but always knew she would return home to serve her community. For Dr. Wuollet, dentistry is more than a career; it’s a way to connect with others, make a lasting difference in their lives, and give back to the place she loves most.
Dr. Wuollet earned her undergraduate degree from Metropolitan State University in 2018 before pursuing her dream of becoming a dentist at Howard University College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2023. As a first-generation doctor, Dr. Wuollet takes great pride in her accomplishments and the opportunity to be a role model for her family and community.
Dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care, Dr. Wuollet is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and Minnesota Dental Association (MDA). She is committed to continual growth and education, having completed advanced training through the Extraction Academy in Chicago, where she enhanced her surgical skills to better manage complex extractions, create effective flaps, and place sutures with precision and confidence.
Dr. Wuollet’s patient care philosophy centers on individualized attention. She believes every person deserves to be seen, heard, and treated with respect. Rather than viewing each procedure as routine, she takes the time to understand her patients’ unique needs and goals, creating customized care plans that lead to optimal outcomes. She especially enjoys performing comprehensive exams, connecting with patients on a personal level, and helping them recognize the value of maintaining good oral health.
Among her favorite aspects of dentistry are crowns and restorative procedures, where she can help patients regain both function and confidence with a natural-looking result. She is also passionate about the advancements in modern dentistry, especially dental implants, which she views as one of the most significant breakthroughs thanks to their long-term stability and less invasive approach.
Outside the office, Dr. Wuollet treasures time with her family. Her husband, who is stationed in San Diego, shares her love of travel and food exploration. When he’s home, they enjoy spending quality time together with their daughter, discovering new destinations, and trying local cuisines.
